How do I get the date field not to automatically populate with previous transaction date?

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online provides an option to use the previous data when recording transactions.  This feature can be turned off at any time.  I would be happy to show you how!

Follow these steps to turn off automation, to ensure that the correct date will be used on your sales forms;

1. Open your Settings ⚙ and select Account and settings

2. From the Advanced tab, select the Edit 📝 for the Automation section

3. Turn off Pre-fill forms with previously entered content

4. Hit Save, then Done.
