How do I get the drop down menu in importing Chart of Accts to stop only have No Match or name of the company. It won't show ie: Detail Type. I've followed step by step.

Welcome to the Commnunity. Being able to import your chart of accounts is essential in order to keep your books up to date. QuickBooks Online is a great program that offer the ability to simply track your sales and expenses. I'd be glad to point you in the right direction to import the chart of accounts.

I encourage you to refer to the following steps to get the sample file to import your chart of accounts.
 

1. Click on the Gear icon at the top.
2. Under Tools, select Import data.
3. Select Chart of Accounts.
4. Click on Download a sample file.

You'd need to make sure that your excel spreadsheet has the same mapping as the sample file before importing it.
