Hello yohabuggy,

Thanks for choosing QuickBooks Online to manage your business's books. It's also great to see that you're using the banking feed feature to more easily work with your transactions in the program. I can absolutely help you with ensuring you have the connection you're looking for in the bank feeds.

There are a few things to consider here, such as whether you've already sorted some transactions into your books or whether you simply need to disconnect the ScotiaOnline feed and then work with the ScotiaConnect transactions. I'll go over how to handle already sorted transactions and disconnecting the feed in case you'd like those steps as well.

If you have added or matched transactions from the ScotiaOnline feed that you don't want to be in your QuickBooks Online account, you can handle them by following these steps.

  1. Hover over Transactions or Banking in the left menu.
  2. Choose the Banking sub-menu.
  3. Select the connection for ScotiaOnline.
  4. Go to the Categorized tab.
  5. Select Undo on any transactions you don't want in order to put them back in the For Review section. You don't need to do anything else with these transactions.

Once you're good to go with that, here's how you can disconnect a feed you no longer wish to be connected.

  1. Select the pencil icon on the connection in question.
  2. Choose Edit account info.
  3. Check the box Disconnect this account on save at the bottom of the Account window.
  4. Click Save and close.

That connection will officially be severed from your books. If you did have transactions that were added or matched from that feed that you chose to keep, don't worry. Those will still be available for you in the chart of accounts for that account.

Next, I've taken a look and it doesn't appear that ScotiaConnect currently connects to QuickBooks Online. I simply used a URL I found online for their website though and recommend you search for yourself just to be sure. Here's how you can do that.

  1. On the Banking tab, select Link account.
  2. Use the URL from your banking website to search for the ScotiaConnect connection.
  3. If it's there, select it, and go through the process to connect to the feed.
  4. If not, select Request under Still can't find your bank?
  5. Fill out the form and click Request again.

This alerts our system that you'd like to use this connection. I don't have a timeline I can share on when this connection might be added, but putting in the request is a good start.

While waiting for that connection, you can consider manually uploading your bank transactions using these steps: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online

Don't hesitate if you have more questions for me. :)
