How do I set the year end date in Quick Books?

Setting the dates for your fiscal year is an important part of tracking your finances. QuickBooks Online will set the first month of the fiscal year, so to set the last month you'd choose the month after your fiscal year end. Let me explain how to set this up.

To set the first month in the fiscal year, follow these easy steps:

1. Click on the Gear Icon on the top right-hand side.
2. Select Account and Settings.
3. Choose the Advanced tab.
4. In the Accounting section, click the Pencil Icon.
5. You'll see the First Month of Fiscal Year with a box next to it. Choose the month from the drop-down menu.
6. Click Save.
7. Click Done.
