How do I set up fiscal year period in Quickbooks?

QuickBooks Online is designed to keep your accounting and bookkeeping tasks minimal.  Adjusting your year end can be done easily.  I would be happy to show you how, so you can manage your books with confidence! 

Changing your year end dates is done through your company settings.  Follow these steps to make the necessary changes;

1. Open your Settings ⚙ and choose Account and settings
2. Click the Advanced tab
3. Select the Edit 📝  for the Accounting section
4. Use the ▼ dropdown menu to choose the First month of fiscal year

Note: Since you want July to be your year end, choose August as the first month

5. Hit Save
