When the payroll is run, the process is manual and I cannot see any option to use epay.

Hi Karaethon,

Thank you for reaching out to Community.  Setting up the E-pay feature for filing and paying your payroll remittance can be done seamlessly.  QuickBooks Online Payroll has just what you need to get started with setting this up.  I'd be happy to show you how!

Follow these steps to get started:

1. From the Gear icon in the top right, open Payroll Settings

2. Click Federal Tax

3. In the Tax Setup, select Update Electronic Services

4. Select Add / Edit Electronic Services

5. Hit Start

6. Continue by choosing Yes, I want to electronically pay and file my payroll taxes through my payroll account

7. Confirm the CRA details for your business, then select Continue

8. Enter your service fee payment method and then Continue

Your request will be sent automatically and you'll receive an email confirmation when your account's ready for E-Pay.

Here's an article for your reference to assist with setting up E-Pay in QuickBooks Online Payroll.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

I do not see an "Update Electronic Services" option in tax set-up.  What  could be the reason for that?

Hi,

Will Quickbooks charge transaction fees for auto payroll payments to CRA? If so, what are they?

Thanks.
