How do I update invoice for Self-Employed version from my personal computer?

Updating your invoices in QuickBooks Self-Employed on your computer is easy. Simply follow the steps below and you'll be on your way.

 

  1. Go to qbo.ca in a browser.
  2. Click Sign in and choose QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  3. Enter your login information.
  4. Select Invoices from the left menu.
  5. Find the invoice in question and select the down arrow in the Action column.
  6. Choose Edit.
  7. Make the desired changes.
  8. Choose Send invoice or Save as draft from the green button and arrow as necessary.

Note that you can only make changes to invoices with the Draft or Sent status. If there's a paid invoice that you need to make changes to, you can delete the original invoice and recreate it or make an additional invoice to account for any added costs to the original.
