How do you add your business number to a profile that has already been set up?

With QuickBooks Online, it's easy to change the information you've entered for your company. All it takes is these quick steps.

1. Select the Gear icon.
2. Choose Account and Settings.
3. On the Company tab, look for the Contact info section.
4. Click the section or the pencil icon to the right to enable editing.
5. Enter a phone number into the Company phone section.
6. Click Save when done.

If what you mean instead is that you'd like to add your business number to your user profile, it's also just a few easy steps. This number is used by our system to give you a code so you can login to your account using two-step verification. Here's how you can enter that number.

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Choose User profile.
3. Click Edit on the Phone section. 
4. Follow the steps to add the number.

These kinds of details can also be added and changed by logging in directly to http://accounts.intuit.com.
