QuickBooks Online (QBO) provides a variety of third-party applications that you can integrate with your subscription. To process payments through Stripe or synchronize Stripe transactions with QuickBooks Online, you'll need to utilize a third-party connector. I'll guide you through the process, coaching1.

But before that, you can log in to your account to find the right application or go to this link to search for one.

  1. Go to the Apps menu on the right panel and click on Find Apps.
  2. From the search bar, enter a keyword related to the feature you're looking for..
  3. You can click on each tile to explore key benefits, functionality, and user reviews.

To give you a few ways to get paid, you can check this article for more details: Receive and Process Payments in QuickBooks Online with QuickBooks Payments.

Additionally, I've added this resource to help you ensure that transactions recorded in your financial records are accurate and match your bank statements: Reconcile an Account in QuickBooks Online.

If you have any other questions about stripe or specific features you'd like to know about the integration, feel free to let me know. I'm always right here to further assist you as you move forward after the sync.

@coaching1

What is your goal? Accepting payments with Stripe or just reconciling transactions from there? You can use specific third-party apps for each.

tried connecting Stripe directly to QuickBooks Online, but it only brought in the payouts — not the actual sales, fees, or refunds. So nothing lined up right, and it made reconciling a headache.

I ended up using Synder, and it’s been a game-changer.

All I had to do was:

  1. Create a Synder account

  2. Connect my Stripe and QuickBooks accounts

  3. Choose how I wanted transactions to sync (you can pick daily summaries or per transaction sync)

  4. That’s it — it just runs in the background now

It pulls in every Stripe sale, fee, and refund automatically, and everything shows up correctly in QuickBooks. No more manual work, and everything matches perfectly. Highly recommend if you want to save time and keep things accurate.
