Hello cody-lowry-hotma,

I'm glad you found us here in Community to ask this question. It's important to me that you're able to connect with support to get the help you're looking for with your QuickBooks Self-Employed account. I'll get you back on track.

It sounds like you're familiar with the usual way to connect with QuickBooks Self-Employed support, which is to open the Assistant feature, type and enter "talk to human," and then follow the prompts. Whether you mean those steps aren't working for you or the Assistant feature isn't populating when you select it, the first thing I recommend is clearing your browser cache or closing and reopening the app. To learn how to clear your browser cache, check out the following article: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks. Although it's tagged for QuickBooks Online, you can still use the links in the article for your browser troubleshooting.

If those steps don't resolve the issue with the Assistant feature, there's another way to get in touch with the QuickBooks Self-Employed team. In instances where the in-product method isn't available or isn't working, you can use this link: QuickBooks Self-Employed chat. Simply click the link, fill in the fields with your details, then click Submit to connect. You can even let them know about your trouble with the Assistant feature.

I hope this has been helpful. Have a great rest of your day!
