How to deal with huge files -- QB Desktop

Hi everyone,

We've been using QB Desktop for ages, and of course, are ending up with a huge working file.

How can we thin it out a little, without having to start over with a new file?

We have inventory, and equipment that still has value and want to keep track of.

The file compressing function you've described above isn't available in QuickBooks Desktop. I can see the benefit of having this and I encourage you to send feedback about this to our engineers. You can do this by clicking on the Help menu and looking for Send Feedback Online. I also recommend looking into third-party apps on our site that can help you with this.
