How to enter discount on sales deposit if not standard amount

It's my pleasure to help you apply discount on your sales deposit in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You can enter a specific discount amount directly from your sales deposit transaction as long as your discount feature is turned on.

Here's how:

1. Select the Gear icon.
2. Under Your Company, choose Accounts and Settings.
3. From the left menu, select the Sales tab.
4. In the Sales form content section, select the pencil icon.
5. Check the Discount.
6. Then select Save and Done.

Once the feature is on, you'll now have the option to enter a Discount percent or Discount value at the bottom of your invoice or sales receipt.

Here's how:

1. Go to the gear icon.
2. Choose Invoice.
3. Click the drop-down under Subtotal and select Discount value.
4. Fill in other necessary information and click Save.
