Hi emilyliucan,

I love that you've been using QuickBooks Online Payroll to account for your payroll figures and to generate year-end forms like T4s. The program keeps these processes as easy as possible to do what it can to save you time. I can point you in the right direction to resolve this.

Whether you're starting the efiling process through QuickBooks Online or directly via the CRA website, the Web Access Code is a vital part of the process as this will give you access to the portal where you can efile. Given that, I recommend contacting the CRA to inquire about and receive your Web Access Code so that you can take care of filing the T4s electronically. Here's a page I found on the CRA website that goes over this process, including what the Web Access Code is: Filing Information Returns Electronically (T4/T5 and other types of returns) – What you should know before

The representative you connect with at the CRA will be able to let you know more detail about that code and how to use it. To explore other filing options, you can ask the representative you reach or check out this page: Employers' Guide – Filing the T4 Slip and Summary

For more information on QuickBooks Online Payroll, you can check out this page: QuickBooks Online Payroll help article hub. It also includes the link to our article about working with T4s in the program if you'd like to review that.

Have a great week!
