Error
We couldn't Add the transaction(s) due to "Something you're trying to use has been made inactive. Check the fields with accounts, customers, items, vendors or employees.". Check account mapping in advanced settings and try again.

Hey there jaklkids1-gmai,

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! Thanks for reaching out to us here. Making sure you're able to add your transactions correctly, is an important part in maintaining clean books. I would be happy to provide some information.

An error message that includes "Something you're trying to use has been made inactive" Usually means that one of the things listed has been made inactive. I recommend taking a look at your Accounts, Customers, Suppliers, Employees,  And your Products and services. You can do this by Clicking on the Action column in each section and select Include Inactive. I suggest going through the lists and click on Make active on anything you see fit.

If you require further assistance, I recommend reaching out to the support team outside of the Community. With your consent, they'll be able to verify your account details as well as view your screen to better assist you. You can reach them by following one of these methods:

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
Social Media: Facebook and Twitter
