How to regain access to Intuit account after replacing phone with Google Authenticator app?

I recently traded in an Android phone on which I was using the Google Authenticator app for 2-factor authentication.  The Google Authenticator app on my new phone does not contain an entry for my Intuit account so I cannot access my Intuit account.  I called and texted with QuickBooks and Mint support.  I gave up after THREE HOURS of frustration.  How can I regain access to QB Self-Employed, TurboTax, and Mint?

(Note: I created a dummy Intuit account so I could logon to this site to ask the question.)
