How to update my payment methods (Error code:-81623) - Bills and subscriptions is not under account and setting as it should be. Getting above error when through intuit

When I click the gear icon, account and settings is an option for me but when I am in account and settings my only options are: 1. Company 2. Sales 3. Expenses 4. Payments 5. Time 6. Advanced Billing and Subscriptions is not an option. I can however click the icon to the right of the gear icon. It is a little blue circle with the first letter of my account within it. If I click that I have an option to "manage my intuit account". If I click that I have the options of 1. Overview 2. Sign-in Security 3. Personal Info 4. Data privacy 5. Products and Billing When I click products and billing I have one option to click "Quickbooks online simple start" which I assume is what I am paying $20/month for. When I click this it loads for a few seconds then I get this error message: Unable to process your request at this time. Please sign out and try again later. If the issue persists, please contact support and reference this message.(Error code:-81623) I have been trying this from all angles for almost a year. a windows computer, a mac, with incognito on either. using safari, chrome and microsoft edge. Regardless of the computer, browser or incognito I am getting the same error message and do not have the "billing and subscriptions" option under account and settings. I need to change the credit card on file to a company credit card - rather than my personal, which seems to be impossible. additionally would like to upgrade the Quickbooks account and possibly add payroll/Quickbooks time. But I cannot access any of that. This also sketches me out considerably because if a time came that the card on file expired I wouldn't be able to update it. Due to the inadequate support I have received I am afraid Quickbooks would just delete my account or something! In which case I would be royally %$

Being able to update your payment method for your QuickBooks Online account is crucial to avoid missed payments and service interruptions. I'd be happy to help you with getting your payment updated for your QuickBooks Online account.

 

If the Billing and Subscription option isn't showing up in your settings it can mean one of two things. First it could be an issue with your internet browser but clearing the cache and cookies and opening it in a private browser such as Google Chromes Incognito mode should fix it.

 

The other is that you set up the subscription outside of the website such as using the app from either the Google play store or Apples app store. If this is the case you'd need to update your billing with them as that is who charges you for your subscription. If you want to switch your billing over to Intuit, you can also do that as long as the account is currently active. To do this you'd need to contact our support team so we can start the switch.
