I accidentally posted a partial payment on a clients account but did not receive it. who can I delete it?

Hi Pamela,

 

Mistakes like these are common. Don't worry,  I got your back. I'll be happy to guide you on how to delete a payment in QuickBooks Online. 

 

To do this, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to Sales tab and choose Customers.
  2. Click on the customer's name.
  3. On the Transaction List, open the payment you've processed.
  4. At the bottom part, click on More and select Delete.
  5. Hit Yes to confirm.

You can also check for the payment in the Audit Log if you can't find it in the Transaction List. Here's a link with more info about the Audit Log.
