I am for some reason not able to enter mileage under Expenses. Error message is You can't access mileageYou don't have permission.

If you're set up as a regular user and not an admin, that would be why you don't have access to the mileage section as only the Primary admin and other admins on the account have access to the mileage tracking features. If you're an admin level user, and get this message, one possible cause would be Browsing data. These temporary files can accumulate and cause errors like the one you're seeing in any cloud-based software like QuickBooks Online. You can resolve errors caused by browsing data using these methods:

• Clear your browser cache if you're using a browser
• Try a browser if you're using the app
• Try deleting the app from your device, and installing it once more from the app store
• Try a private browser window
• Try another browser type
• Make sure you're using a supported browser and system
• Reset your Internet or try on another computer or device
