I am having difficulty downloading spreadsheet of the transaction?

With a few more details about what exactly you're trying to accomplish, I'm confident I can help you get back on track. Knowing what you mean when you say you're trying to download a spreadsheet of the transaction would clarify the situation, but I have a few ideas to get us started.

 

My first thought it that you may be in the Transactions tab of the software, and you're hoping to export that list of transactions as an Excel spreadsheet. To do that, all it takes is clicking the export icon just above the list to the right. If you're clicking that and that's where the trouble starts because it isn't working or doesn't download a file, I recommend browser troubleshooting, such as clearing the cache or trying another browser type. Check out the Clear cache and cookies to fix issues with QuickBooks article to learn how to clear the cache for your browser. The article says "QuickBooks Online" in the title, but the browser steps can be used regardless of the QuickBooks version you have.

 

If you mean instead that you're looking to download a spreadsheet copy of a single transaction entered into QuickBooks Self-Employed, that option isn't available at this time.
