Question

I am having trouble getting my income transactions to show up under sales. I have added rules for them and even edited them to go to the sales tab but no luck.

Hey robert-hanney,

Awesome job showing the initiative and trying all those steps on your own! Making sure you are able to pull up your income transactions quick through your reports is something we pride ourselves in. I'd love to help get this resolved with you.

The first thing i would suggest is to make sure the account attached to these transactions is in fact an income account. If you find one is under a different account you can change it by following the steps in this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-ca/products-services/change-the-account-for-a-product-service-item/00/262004. Next step to check would be to verify if any are journal entries. If there is you'll need to make sure they are put in under sales tax and not purchase tax.

If you still experience issues after checking these steps I'd suggest contacting our support team here for further assistance.

Have a great weekend!
