Hi charlottef-roach,

Welcome to Community!  It's vital that you're able to print your cheques accurately before sending them.  With QuickBooks Online you can order compatible cheques from Intuit or use your own, but they'd need to be formatted.  I'd be happy to assist you!

Before getting started, I recommend clearing cache on your browser and then login to your account in private/incognito mode, to rule out any underlying browser issues.

To configure the print settings, we'll start with the setup.  Here's how:

1. From the left menu bar click + New.

2. Select Print Cheques.

3. At the bottom of the page, hit Print setup.

4. Choose the type of cheques you have: voucher or standard.
5. Load blank paper into your printer incase you need to correct the alignment, this way you won't waste actual cheques.

6. Select View preview and print sample, then choose the Print icon.

If you're unable to print, or the printed sample doesn't align with the blank cheque you'll want to ensure you have the latest version of the Adobe Reader and then continue to Fine-tune the alignment.  You'll find the steps here.

If the issue persists, I suggest contacting us so we can look further into this from our end, using one of the following methods:

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
Social MediaFacebookTwitter, and Instagram.
Support hours are from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. ET.

If you have any other questions, please reach back out.  We're here to help!
