Question

I am trying to pull out the cost history of inventory items in Quickbooks online. Anyone know how I can do that?

Based on what you've described, I recommend running the Inventory Valuation Detail Report. This report shows the quantity on hand, value, and average cost for each inventory item. The good thing is you can filter the dates on the reports so you can get a historical view of your inventory. You can run this report by clicking Reports on the left menu and searching for the Inventory Valuation Detail Report.
