I am unable to find the automatic mileage tracking feature in the QuickBooks App. Can someone please explain why it may be missing?

Hi there tattoosbytober-g,

It's important that all your transaction be entered properly for your books to be well balanced. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you keep track of mileage done on trips so you can categorize it as either business or personal. I can provide some information about the mileage tracker.

As stated in this article, the mileage tracker is only available to admin-level users, so if you're set as a regular user, that would be why you can't see the option in the mobile app. If you are an admin-level user but don't see the option to track mileage, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Online support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to view your access with you n the system in order to see why you don't see that function in the app. You can reach them using these steps:

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
Social Media: Facebook and Twitter

if you have any other questions, feel free to reach out here.
