Question

I connected my bank account but it only brought in transactions from Apr on and I need transactions starting from Nov 2020. How do I get those into Quickbooks?

Hi usertammy,

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, It's great to have you here! Connecting your QuickBooks Online account  to your bank is a great way to ensure you haven't missed any transactions and keep your account up to date. I can help go over how to download your bank feed transactions into your QuickBooks Online account.

QuickBooks Online makes downloading your bank transactions a quick and easy process made to not only help you save time but also give you piece of mind knowing that all your transactions are in your QuickBooks Online account. In order to load the transactions from your bank account for longer periods you'll need to manually download the transactions by follow the steps in this article.

Once you pick the date range and download the file you'll need to make sure the file is under 350 KB otherwise you'll need to break it up into smaller date ranges. If you notice any duplicate entries you can exclude them by following these steps.

Exclude personal or duplicate transactions to keep your accounts accurate:

  1. Go to the For Review.
  2. Check the checkbox for each transaction you want to exclude.
  3. Select Exclude.

Excluded transactions move to the Excluded tab. They won’t be added to QuickBooks or downloaded again.

Feel free to reach back out if you have any further questions and we would be happy to help!
