Question

I currently track all my mileage on the Quickbooks Mobile app. Is there a way to import those trips to my Quickbooks online account?

Hey robyne-frame,

Using the mobile app to automatically track your trips makes it easy to record all your business travel in a mileage log. This especially pays off if you're able to claim your eligible vehicle expenses as business expenses. I'll be happy to show you where you can find this information in QuickBooks Online.

As a cloud-based software, any trips recorded in the mobile app are also available in the web version. Simply sign in to the same company you use on your mobile device through a supported web browser (such as Chrome or Firefox), and head to the Mileage tab in the left sidebar. Here you'll be able to review and classify any trips that have been recorded. Importing from other files isn't currently supported, but you can quickly record business and personal trips by clicking Add Trip.

This is a recent addition to QuickBooks Online, so we're very open to customer feedback. Feel free to share any comments about this feature by clicking Share Feedback at the bottom of the Mileage page.
