Hello yan4,

Error messages are never fun to deal with, especially when you need to get to work in your books and stay on top of your business information. Don't worry, I'm here to shed light on what's happened and why you're getting that error message when trying to log into QuickBooks Self-Employed, as well as what you can do about it.

QuickBooks Self-Employed's mobile app recently had an update rolled out that seems to have caused errors with logging into the app. Our team is still working to narrow down the exact cause, but I can tell you that you're not the only one. What you can consider is reaching out to the QuickBooks Self-Employed team to let them know that you're also experiencing this issue. That way, we can continued to collect data to find a resolution. Here's how you can reach out.

  1. Go to qbo.ca.
  2. Hover over Sign In and select QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  3. Click the Assistant feature.
  4. Type and enter "talk to human" into the chat box.
  5. Follow the prompts.

There may be a delay in connecting with a member of our team since so many users are reaching out about this issue. I want to assure you that our goal is to get to each message, but if you don't have the time to wait right now, please feel free to reach out later instead.

While we're working on resolving this issue, you can login via a computer or mobile browser to access QuickBooks Self-Employed and continue with your work. That way, you'll still be able to invoice customers and handle your transactions as needed.

Bear with us and we'll get this taken care of as soon as possible. We've got your back!
