Hi there chantinn,

It's vital that all your transactions be entered correctly so that your books can be well balanced. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you with keeping track of your sales and expenses so you can see the profit of your company. I can point you in the right direction to get this error resolved.

One possible cause for error messages like the one you're seeing as well as the system not responding would be browsing data accumulated in the system. These temporary files can build up and cause errors in any cloud-based software like QuickBooks Online. Here are some steps to resolve issues caused by browsing data:

If the error persists after trying each of these steps, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Online support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to view the error with you in order to assist in helping you get that transaction and others entered. You can reach out to them using these methods:

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
Social Media: Facebook and Twitter
