Question

I have a bunch of miscellaneous expenses. Can I enter the data into a spread sheet and then import? What format? What columns?

Hello wesley-dronestri,

It's great to see you in Community.  Welcome!  QuickBooks Online is a dynamic program that provides the features you need, to accomplish your goals seamlessly.  I would be happy to provide more information, so you can import your expenses in a timely fashion!

QuickBooks Online provides the option to import your bills/expenses as a batch.  Formats consist of CSV (Comma Separated Values) file, Google Sheets, or an XLS/XLSX file.  We do recommend that only 100 bills are imported at one time, so you may need to split the files and import them separately.  Multicurrency is also supported, and your sales tax codes are mapped, so these won't need to be changed before importing.  Follow this link to learn more about preparing your file and importing it into QuickBooks Online.  In addition, I feel you would benefit from using the Receipts feature, to track and record receipts and bills.  This is a real time saver for uploading them to QuickBooks Online, directly from your mobile device.  Click here to learn more!

Please don't hesitate to reach back out with other questions.  We are always glad to help!
