Hello patty-keller,

Seeing an unexpected email about your QuickBooks Online subscription coming to an end can be a shock. I want to make sure you get to the bottom of this as quickly as possible. To start, I'll highlight a reason why you might be getting that email and what you can do to make sure your subscription isn't expiring.

One reason you may have gotten an email mentioning your subscription coming to an end is if you're on a 30-day free trial. A week before the trial ends, QuickBooks sends out a reminder to subscribe so you can have continued access to the program and the data you've entered. Simply go to the Gear icon, choose Account and Settings, then the Billing and subscription tab. There, you'll be able to subscribe beyond your trial and enter your billing information.

The best way to make sure your subscription is good to go is by following those same instructions I just gave and making sure your billing information is up to date. If you've subscribe through the Apple Store or Google Play Store, double check your payment information registered with those app stores.

Even if everything looks fine, I recommend getting in touch with QuickBooks Online support to verify what's going on. An agent will be able to take a closer look at your account and let you know what's going on. Here's how to reach out.
