Hi there,

Connecting your bank and credit card accounts is one of the best ways to save yourself time in QuickBooks Online. Once connected, your bank will automatically import the last 90 days of transactions. If you need to get older transactions from your bank, or if your bank doesn't connect to QuickBooks Online, you can upload them manually. I'll explain what you'll do next.

Follow the steps listed in this article for help uploading your QBO files into QuickBooks Online bank feeds: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

As explained in this article, these are the steps to upload your file:

  1. In QuickBooks Online, go to the Banking menu, then select the Banking tab.
  2. Select the blue tile for the account you want to upload the transactions into.
  3. Select the small arrow ▼ icon by the Update button, then select File upload.

I hope this helps you get back on track. If you have any other questions, or if you run into any difficulties with this, please reach out to our tech support team.

Have a nice day.

I need to upload credit card statements from Sept 2020 - Nov 2020. my bank only allows me to download them up to 90 days ago, so I have them saved in pdf form. How can I get theses statements into my quick books online

Hi Chris. I'd be happy to give you a hand with uploading your bank transactions so you can start taking advantage of the powerful banking module. It's important that QuickBooks accepts CSV files or QBO files for transaction uploads. If your bank is only providing you with PDF files, I suggest using a third-party app/site to convert your PDF into a CSV file. Once you've done this, check out this helpful article here which shows you how to:

Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

I encourage you to check this out and if you have questions, feel free to get back to me in the comments. I've got your back.
