Hi there,

QuickBooks Online is an all-in-one solution for your business bookkeeping needs. Utilizing the bank feed is one of the best ways to save you time, especially when it comes time to complete your reconciliations. If you've uploaded transactions using a CSV file and you notice the categorization of your transaction looks incorrect, I'll explain how you can make the appropriate changes before adding or matching it in QBO.

When you click the Banking tab on the left navigation menu, your transactions will appear in the "For Review" section. This is where you can make the necessary changes. All you have to do is click the transaction to edit it. This will allow you to edit the Customer/Supplier, Category, Tax Code, Class, Location, and more.

Once you've made the appropriate changes, you'll be able to add the transaction by clicking Add at the right-hand side of the editing screen. If you've already included this transaction in QBO previously, you can select Find Match

Here's more information about this process: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online
