Question

I'm not able to save a receipt manually entered transaction. there is no date to complete and save button is non highlights when all other boxes completed. any suggestions?

QuickBooks Self-Employed is a great program for business owners that enjoy managing their business on the go. I'd be glad to steer you in the right direction so you can save your receipts with ease. 

 

If you're using the mobile app, I encourage you to uninstall the app and reinstall it again. This helps refresh the app and allows it to work more efficiently. If you're using a web browser, I suggest using a private/incognito window to save the receipt.
