I need to add field in the General Journal format

QuickBooks has enhanced its interface for a smoother and more user-friendly experience, but currently, there is no option to add a field in the General Journal format, Mohamad.

 

While this feature is unavailable, you can submit a feature request to our Product Engineers so they can address this matter as soon as possible. To send a feature request, please follow the process below.

 

  1. Click on the Help menu.
  2. Select the Send Feedback Online option.
  3. Choose the Product Suggestion option. A pop-up window displays.
  4. Enter your feedback suggestion.
  5. Once done, click the Send Feedback button.

 

In the meantime, I recommend utilizing the memo field to add transaction-specific notes or details in QuickBooks Desktop. This can enhance clarity and traceability in your journal entries, ensuring more accurate record-keeping and future reference.
