Hello jonsjunk,

It's great to learn you're looking to set up online payments so you can get paid faster. QuickBooks Self-Employed offers an easy-to-use interface that makes it simple to navigate and bring your financials into focus. I'd be happy to help you get back on track with your work.

To get started, here are the steps to follow when setting up payments on your account:

  1. Navigate to the Invoices menu.
  2. Click on Create invoice.
  3. Select Set up Payments. The Set up payments window will show.
  4. Choose Set up Payments.
  5. Complete the Accept Payments forms.
  6. Follow the instructions on the screen.

I encourage you to try out the steps using a private/incognito window. Let me know how you make out by leaving a comment below. I'm here to help you achieve your QuickBooks goals.

First, when I read the initial answer of the QB employee, I feel this is so out of touch...  Who needs a marketing message when being frustrated because of an error message of the plateform?

Then the instruction to solve the problem are the steps that reproduce the problem...  How can QB employees be so out of touch, or not given the means to actually solve problem?  So frustrating.

I personally don't think I will stay long on this platform and look into alternatives.
