I want to stop syncing my personal bank account but I want to keep some transaction history. Is this possible?

Partway through the year I stopped using my personal bank account for business transactions. So I need to keep some transaction history from my personal account but I no longer need to sync my personal transactions with QB. How can I keep business relevant transactions from my personal account in QB after removing my personal account from QB?

Hi nsbreaks22,

Welcome to Community!  Having the ability to connect your bank and credit card accounts in QuickBooks Online is a great way to automatically download transactions and keep your accounts up to date.  When this feature is no longer needed, you can disconnect the account.  I'd be happy to provide some insight here!

Disconnecting an account will prevent QuickBooks from downloading new transactions.  Although this will delete transactions that still need to be categorized in the For review tab, your account history will remain and you can view it by following these steps;

1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Chart of accounts

2. Find the bank or credit card account you want to review and select Account history
