Hello sally32,

Having all of the information you need in your books is essential to having balanced numbers and can be useful when you want to make yearly comparisons for your business. I want to make sure you're able to figure out where those transactions for September to December went in your QuickBooks Online account, so I'll point you in the right direction.

In this case, having more details about the situation is vital to determining what's going on. From knowing exactly where you're looking for these transactions in your books to how you've been entering them will help narrow down what may have happened to them. Speaking directly with a support agent with whom you can share all the necessary details is the best method to getting back on track in your books.

To get you started, you can take a look at a feature in QuickBooks Online called the Audit Log. This log shows you all activity in your account, including when transactions are added, modified, or deleted. This is a useful place to start to see if these transactions were ever in your books and what may have happened to them. Take a few moments to read the following article to learn how to filter and use the Audit Log to your advantage: Use the audit log in QuickBooks Online
