In Safari, I haven't been able to edit employees for a couple of weeks. The save button on the bottom of the page is just a white bar. I have to open Chrome instead.

The most common reason for a browser to not show the a feature or correct information would be due to corrupted cache and cookies. To clear out your cache and cookies you can follow the steps in this link. Another reason for it not working properly would be due to an ad blocker or pop up blocker on your computer stopping QuickBooks Online from working properly.
