Hi there,

I own a small business and I rent the place. I would like to print cheques for the rent for the whole year to show them to my landlord that I will be able to pay them but I don't want to look like they are paid in QB. Is there anything that I can do about that?

Hi there, @Ar156. I'll guide you on how you can print the cheque transactions for your rent expense in the whole year.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you'll be able to print your cheques by running the Check/Cheque Detail report. From there, filter the Dates, and the Transaction Type to Cheque Expense.

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Click on Reports at the left pane, then search and open the Check Detail report.
  3. Go to the Customize tab.
  4. Customize the date and the transaction type.
  5. Tap on the Run report tab to refresh the page.

When you're ready to print the details, click on the Print icon between Email and Export.

Additionally, you may click on the small gear icon to add or remove columns on your report.

For additional resources, while handling your reports in QBO, open this article: Run reports in QuickBooks Online.

If you have any other questions about printing your cheques in QBO, let me know by adding a comment below. I'm more than happy to help. Have a good one!
