To get started, it's important to note that in order for your scanner to be compatible with QuickBooks, it has to match the criteria below: 

- The scanner supports EAN-13 (International Article Number, formerly European Article Number) and Code-128 barcode.

- The scanner produces a single carriage return at the end of the barcode.
