Hello..

How can I add a line in the footer section of the invoice to include the total number of quantity of items?

 

My invoice template has three column quantity, rate and amount. In the footer section of the invoice I have a total for the amount column only, I want to include the total of quantity as well.

QuickBooks Online is a great software that has various features to make running your business smoother. Customizing forms is one of the many features that are available in QuickBooks. I would be happy to provide some information.

 

At this time, the option to add a Quantity column to the footer of your invoice wouldn't be possible. However, you can enter the total quantity in the memo field. Here is a helpful guide on how to customize forms in QuickBooks Online. I see how being able to add an extra column for quantity would be beneficial for you. I encourage you to leave feedback for our developers. You can do this by heading to the Gear icon and selecting the Feedback option. Comments are viewed and considered as our developers create new features and updates for QuickBooks.
