Hi there, Faye. Let me share with you some information about downloading transactions with Scotiabank.

The 2-step verification is an added security feature where you’ll be asked to verify your identity whenever you access your Scotiabank account from a new device. It helps to protect you from fraud because even if someone else gets ahold of your username and password, they can’t pretend to be you if they try to access your account.

However, if you can't download your clients' transactions, you may need to reach out to your bank about this matter. This way, they can check the connection with your bank and QuickBooks Online (QBO). They can also share with you some updates about your account.

Once settled and the transactions are added to the system, you're now ready to review and categorize the entries to put them into the correct accounts or categories.

After that, reconcile your account to balance your QuickBooks and bank balance.
