Is anyone using quickbooks online canada with SAP concur ? how do you move the data between applications?

It's great to hear from you again. :) It's awesome when QuickBooks can team up with another program to enhance your business workflow. I can point you in the right direction so you can find out if SAP connects with QuickBooks Online Canada.

 

When you're interested in seeing if QuickBooks Online can connect with a third-party service, there are two things to consider: does QuickBooks have an app listed in its Apps section that can connect you and does the third-party have its own integration with Quickbooks Online? I know these things sound similar, but allow me to clarify.

 

Apps listed in the Apps section of QuickBooks Online allow you to connect to third-party services through the QuickBooks platform using the applications.

 

Third-party services with their own connections to QuickBooks Online integrate through their own systems to be able to work with QuickBooks.

 

I recommend taking a look at what apps are available in the program itself, and then check with SAP to see if it has a way to integrate QuickBooks from its side. SAP support should be able to help you with any integration they might have.

there is an app for concur - see below, so I guess I don't need web connector 

 

what do I need to do in quickbooks to enable this app?

how do I ensure that the information I need is coming over.  specifically I want the classification for all expenses to come over to quickbooks and I do not see that on the file import sheet?

How it works with QuickBooks

Concur automatically collects all Account Codes, Customers, items, Jobs and Classes, Vendor Records and Employee Records directly from QuickBooks. When it’s time to enter Expense Types, Cost Tracking and User Information into Concur, simply select from the labels taken straight from QuickBooks. Updating QuickBooks is just as simple. Concur uses QuickBooks Web Connector to automatically transfer data back into QuickBooks desktop and has a direct sync with QuickBooks online

I'm glad you were able to find an app! At this point, I recommend reaching out to the app's support team for more details about how it works and what information will come over. As they're developed by third parties, it's those support teams that have those kinds of details.
