Is it possible to see a running bank balance when entering bank transactions

Hi there,

 

I appreciate you reaching out to the Community. QuickBooks Online makes it simple to enter bank transactions and I'll be happy to share more on this. 

 

There are several ways of how you can manually enter a transaction in QuickBooks Online. As you add the transactions, you can refresh the screen to see the running balance of the bank account. To add transactions click the Plus (+) sign, through the register, or on the transaction screen.

If you want to enter a transaction directly to the register, please follow these steps:

  1.     Click the Gear icon.
  2.     Below Your Company, select Chart of Accounts.
  3.     Choose an account and click View register.
  4.     Click the drop-down arrow below the Date column.

 

You can also add transactions manually by clicking the Plus icon and selecting the transaction type.
