Question

Is QBO Advanced with SOS Inventory sufficient software for our Manufacturing business? We operate on a LIFO not FIFO?

We are a manufacturing company and have been using Sage 50 US fka Peachtree back in 2002.  A couple of weeks ago we had Dataswitcher perform the conversion to QBO Advanced.  We STILL do NOT have all the functions set up and SOS Inventory is not syncing between QBO and SOS.  A lot of our inventory items did not convert so we hired someone at the suggestion of Julia @ SOS to do the process for us.  At this point, we have been unable to create Invoices, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders or receive Inventory because it needs to be linked to the Purchase Orders and that is not currently working.   HELP!  Does anyone else that works for a manufacturing company use these softwares together and know that it will work for us?  PLEASE RESPOND!?! Thanks!

I would recommend to replace SOS with another manufacturing app to integrate with QBO.

Welcome to Community!  I would be happy to provide some insight here, so you can accomplish your QuickBooks goals in a timely fashion!

 

To get started, if a connection between SOS Inventory and QuickBooks Online isn't active, the synchronization functions will not be available.  You can initiate synchronization by navigating to Apps, located on the left navigation menu in QuickBooks Online.  You'll see SOS Inventory listed in All apps, or type it in the search bar.  Click on “Get App Now” to connect and answer the questions to complete the process.
