Why is it that every time I open Quickbooks Desktop Live community pops up and it opens when I close Quickbooks.  It is off in Preferences, this has never happened before  This is the most frustrating and annoying feature.  I want it turned off

Hi lovers,

 

I'm glad to see you reaching out here.  Having the QuickBooks Desktop Community appearing each time you open your program is a great way to feel confident that it's always available when you need it.  However, I can see how this would also be concerning when you want to get to work without a daily reminder.  I'll be happy to assist, so you're able to go directly to what you love and complete your daily bookkeeping tasks.

 

The first step would be to take a look at the preferences to ensure QuickBooks help is turned off.  Here's how:

 

1. Click on Edit and select Preferences

2. In the Search section, choose My preferences

3. In the Choose where to search by default section, make sure Search QuickBooks help isn't selected

4. Hit OK

5. Restart QuickBooks to confirm that Live Community isn't opening automatically.

 

If the issue persists, run Quick Fix my Program from the QuickBooks Tools Hub.

Does not work,  when I close it while in QUICKBOOKS AND OPEN ANOTHER WINDOW WITHIN THE FILE I HAVE OPEN LIVE COMMUNITY REOPENS ALONG WITH WITH A SCRIPT ERROR.   THERE MUST BE A SOLUTION. PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS.
