Made a purchase on Company Debit card and returned purchase for a refund to the Debit card. How do I process this?

Making sure all purchases and refunds are tracked in your QuickBooks Online account is the key to good bookkeeping. I'd be happy to help you get this entered into your QuickBooks account.

 

QuickBooks Online makes it easy to enter and track your purchases and returns using the bill feature. This allows you to track when you make a purchase and how it's paid for. To enter a bill in QuickBooks Online you can follow the steps in this article. Once you enter the bill you can then process the refund. This way will allow you to show the purchase was made but then later refunded. To refund a purchase you can follow the steps here.

 

Once completed you will be able to show that a purchase using the company card was made and then later returned and refunded.
