Hi All

Does anyone know how I can get the "account history" feature on all of my accounts? It only shows on some.

Thank you.

Hi there wjoseph,

It's vital all your transactions be entered for each of your account balances to be accurate. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you keep track of sales and expense transactions so that you can see the profit of your company. I can provide some information about the chart of accounts.

The account history s only available for balance sheet accounts, such as assets and liabilities, as well as bank and credit card accounts. Certain account types that don't appear on the balance sheet, such as expenses and sales, appear on the Profit and loss report and don't have the ability to have an account history, as your profit is calculated separately for each year. In order to see the transactions for these accounts, you'd need to use the Run report option, and set the date range that you want to view.
