My AMEX Business Edge card gets this error when trying to add. "Sorry, an unexpected error has occurred. We could not fetch your accounts from your bank"

Welcome to Community!  Connecting your bank and credit card accounts in QuickBooks Online, is a valuable feature for automatically uploading your transactions effortlessly.  However, we are currently investigating the issue you've described.  Although our Development Team is working diligently to resolve the issue as soon as possible, I don't have an ETA.  If you would like to be notified when the issue has been fixed, please contact us outside of Community, so we can set you up for status updates.  In the interim, you can manually upload your transactions, to ensure your accounts remain balanced and up-to-date.

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?) Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > enter "Contact support" > hit Contact Us > provide a brief summary of your situation > hit Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
