My first QBO account had problems (needed to change my home currency), so I created a new second account. Can I export/import or migrate my QBO PAYROLL data to new acct?

Exporting payroll data is somewhat limited when compared to other financial data. You can still export payroll reports to help you transfer necessary payroll information. However, these are the transactions you can only import into QBO:

• Bank data
• Customers
• Suppliers
• Chart of Accounts
• Products and services
• Invoices
• Bills
• Journal entries

Since your account is new, you'll want to enter the prior payroll data to enter your employee’s year-to-date paycheck info and company totals. Here's how:

1. Go to Taxes and select Payroll tax.
2. Click Payment and then select Resources.
3. Select Record tax payments, then Add Payment.
4. Enter the details of your payments, including the period start, end, and payment date. Be sure to include the breakdown of each tax type that you paid.
5. Tick OK.
