Near Cash and Non-cash Gift Cards setup in QB Desktop Accountant Canada

Dear All,

I'm a new user and want to know how to set up the the above for the Chrismas Gift cards, so that it results in a correct T4 end of they year (correct box amounts in the T4s)
A  more detailed reply will be highly appreciated
